Demonstration Speech

For this speech, you will choose a topic for which you are able to make a demonstration to the class. This could be anything from a cooking demonstration to a lesson in playing Guitar Hero. In an effort to avoid 15 speeches on how to play Guitar Hero, the topic must be approved with me prior to your doing it. You will create an outline using all of the elements of a speech, and you will be required to use props, so this means that if you are demonstrating how to make the best cookies ever, you actually need to bring the ingredients for the cookies to class. The speech will need to be 10-12 minutes in length, and you must be familiar enough with the content that you don’t need to use an outline or note cards. This speech will likely be the most fun speech that you have done thus far, so don’t let it intimidate you. Choose a topic that you are very familiar with and show us how it’s done!
